My thread on with Questions to MM on FT related policies deleted within minutes.
The other on Maths and Science education also deleted few days back.
So many things cannot post for discuss meh?!?
I dont understand, if want to delete, why not delete this, instead of the one on immigration or maths and science??

Despite the world highest paid, the ideas and policies are nothing more than mediocre. When the world economy recovers, Singapore recovers. When the world economy sinks, we sink along. SO what make SIngapore leaders so special and justify that salaries? We all faces the same situation everywhere else faces. No difference. I say they worth their money if Singapore can continue to enjoy 5% to 10% each year regardless of the world economy climate and have 100% employment. What we are paying the gov is magical but the result is far from it !!!

but the ordinary singaporeans can have early retirement at 55
My guess is that having increased the retirement age from 55 to 62, there are plans to increase it further - in steps i.e. 65 then 67 and thence to 69. What will be the final retirement age, nobody knows, considering MM Lee is 85 and still going strong............

y Obama dun question the way singapore draw out those boundaries for voting? and y 66% vote result in 98% seats? is this democracy?
the only way we can find out if opposition can do a better job is to vote in 50% of them and share power and see if they do better job
I think the 66.6% majority vote for the PAPAYAS consists mainly of elderly folks, where many "sweets" were given prior to GE. Also the redrawing of electoral boundaries was a done in bad light.
Fortunately, Mr. LHL announced that in the coming GE there will be more single party candidates and less GRC to level the playing field.
We have not had the opportunity to experience a parliament run by a coalition government. I wonder what will it be like, at least we can see much more active debates on TV amongst various parties fighting for their party's agenda.......

It's to be expected. They are merely reflecting their innate characters:
1. The talking bots "die die cannot lose in a gentlemen's debate ie ISlyvia, really?, nornan lee.
2. If lose, either ignore you, attack you personally or delete the thread so as to not let anyone else know... censorship.
3. Combine the recipe of (1) & (2) and put it in a economic competiton perspective, that's why the GLCs can never beat the angmohs MNCs in fair competition outside this island.
4. We have many kind souls here trying to help them move on from their mindset, but looks like they are still stuck in the "cannot lose face" era of ancient China.

Now we have Record Population Growth in Worst Crisis.
The consequences are:
1) Higher property cost
2) More cannot afford own cars
3) Lower wages
4) Lower productivity (according to ecnomist report)
Thus overall Higher Living Cost, and even Lower Birthrate!
the key word is "can". most governments "can". but not every government "will". be thankful your government "will". most governments "will" make you play merry go round in a duopoly.
