I don't care. I can't find myself supporting another club since 1977.

COME ON LIVERPOOL!

YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE !

But you cannot say like that hor. We realistically should prevail over Fulham but what happened?
Don't worry, we always try to prevail. Mathematically and realistically and contradictingly, we can also win the BPL. "prevail" over Debrecen by 4 or 5 goals and realistically hope Lyon beat Fiorentina or a draw will do.
Realistically, we are only HOPING. Sorry, I mean YOU all. Laughing

I wonder what Liverpool can do, to save the season?
Fact: We have lost 5 games in the EPL so far... interestingly, someone actually listed them as
F ulham
A ston Villa
C helsea
T ottenham Hotspurs
S underland
ironically spelling "FACTS".

We can probably write off Championship hopes... for another year, unless we see a major meltdown at Chelsea (ANC), Arsenal (young guns have the maturity to go the distance?) and Man Utd (well... er luck runs out?)

Rather, perhaps we should focus on getting into top 4 - ie Champiosn League places with a sustainable push through to the end of the season.

And that means, putting Gerrard and Torres under the knife. Remembering that they too have World Cup apsirations at the end of the season... so, rather than risk their season.. let them go for the respective surgeries, let them rest, also be excused from the meaningless internationals... and recover in time for the late season push and the world cup. This will do them lots of good.

On the other hand, give clear notice to the rest of the squad, including the youngsters that is the season for building the future. While results are important, it is also the time for the squad to show their worth. If they are good, they have a future. If they show the effort, but are just not Liverpool quality, at least they are showcased and we get a better fee when they are sold at the end of the season.

In the meantime, boot the yankees out for they were never willing to put money where their mouth is. Put it this way, they have used LFC as collateral, to borrow money to fund their trips around Europe, and hope to turn a profit. What else have they done really, apart from messing with Rafa's head every 3 months?

So perhaps that 's the deal for Rafa - take the current value of the squad, plus an additional x0M, and he can do anything he wants: to sell, sack, buy, loan, reward, recontract without the pressure to win anything this year. Just 1 target - top 4 in the EPL so that we get UCL next year. Otherwise, build his squad as he sees fit. We want to see the all-firing, championship winning football juggernaut next season.

that would be my preferred path out of this current storm.

Kenny Dalglish was seen in the stadium for the last few games. Probably he will take over Pool very soon.

I agree with a supporter who said that the reserves must be used and Torres and Gerrard rested. Reserves are also professionals for petes' sake.

We must take a long term view. If 3 weeks rest is needed then let it be.

We are talking about a person's health for Pete's sake !

What is it worth to have him crocked for the rest of the season if they are not rested NOW when they need it !

He must be as heartpain as we are, after seeing Reds in this slump. The last one was under Souness.

Will we find another respectable manager, with great support from the management? Crying or Very sad
